These projects have been made possible thanks to the support of various grants and public subsidies aimed at promoting sport, health and the community in Lanzarote.

FP DUAL

CrossFit Lanzarote is a beneficiary of subsidies for companies and similar organisations in the private sector participating in operations co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus within the ESF+ Programme 2021-2027 Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, belonging to the action Support for Dual Education in its training phase outside the educational centre.

GOVERNMENT OF THE CANARY ISLANDS FACILITY IMPROVEMENT GRANT

This project has enabled CrossFit Lanzarote to improve and expand its facilities through the acquisition and installation of new equipment and structural improvements, enhancing the quality of service, safety and training experience for our community. Thanks to the support of the Canary Islands Government, we remain committed to providing more efficient and modern facilities.

AWARD OF THE “ÚLTIMA MILLA” GRANT

Advancing the digitalisation of sports training with CrossFit Lanzarote S.L.

The development of the Metaverse-based Customer Intelligence System continues apace, incorporating technological innovation into sporting activities in a highly competitive tourism context.

With the support of the Última Milla 2023 grant (Application identification reference: 202400050034145), progress is being made in the creation of immersive virtual environments and the personalisation of sporting experiences, leveraging detailed analysis of customer behaviour and preferences.

Key achievements to date:

  • Design and development of the virtual environment: progress is being made in the conceptualisation of virtual training spaces, the development of interactive functionalities adapted to the sporting context, and the execution of proof-of-concept tests with immersive technologies.

  • Content integration and usability testing: work is underway on creating customised content, usability testing is being carried out, and progressive adjustments are being made based on the feedback received.

The project is moving forward with a clear objective: to develop a metaverse-based customer intelligence system that enables sports companies to offer highly personalised and differentiated experiences, increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Crossfit Lanzarote S.L., a leader in the fitness and sports training sector, is promoting this initiative in response to the need to innovate in the face of declining effectiveness of conventional marketing strategies. This digital transformation seeks to overcome the lack of tools capable of providing a detailed understanding of customer behaviour, promoting an improved experience and greater loyalty.

Support for Pymes from the Government of the Canary Islands and the European Union.

 

CrossFit Lanzarote S.L. has been awarded a grant by the Department of Economy, Industry, Trade and the Self-Employed, under budget line PILA 237G0185, financed 100% by the ERDF within the 2014–2020 REACT-EU Operational Programme, funded as part of the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and aimed at SME investment projects in the Canary Islands.

Thanks to this grant, a new project has been created with a training space and improved facilities, generating new employment and bringing physical activity and improved health closer to the population.
